Followers: Cristina Lauteman

Cristina Maria Ribeiro Lauteman (1), from Anchieta, is another artisan well renowned in the market. The sea gave her inspiration to create flower bouquets using shells and winkles in their natural colors, with rod made from coconut tree palms.

Cristina is constantly participating in seminars and conventions to show her craft. Some states visited recently by this artisan are Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Brasília, Salvador, São Paulo, Florianópolis, Porto Alegre and Recife, in Brazil, and art craft shows in Argentina and Italy.

Among her best-selling products are angels, jewelry, and napkin holders made from fish scales; birds, key chains, and turtles made from shells; and flowers made of winkles, shells and scales.
