Shell Craft in the Litoral of Espírito Santo, Brazil.

In the south coast of the state of Espírito Santo, southeast of Brazil, developed a shell craft that had became symbol of this region. With pieces of rare beauty and creativity, this activity incremented tourism and became, along with civil-construction, the first economic source in these cities.

College Professor Adelzira Madeira has researched this craft for 30 years, since its origins to the impact it has caused in the economy, the environment, and in the life of the artisans who create them.
